Can I Use Friendster to Sell More Books?
I was pretty darn excited to hook up this blog. The post by email function is so smooth and the rest of the interface was very easy.
I figured that by today, I’d be writing about Friendster blogs on my other sites and link here from my social networking profiles, like Facebook and Linkedin
Then I tried something called a blog import… it was suppose to grab posts from another blog and put them up here.
Sad to say it did not work for me. Worse, the last three times I sat down to fix it, Friendster wouldn’t respond. Yech!
I deleted the posts and will try something else.
Meanwhile, I imported a list of authors and promotional partners to see who else I might befriend here. Lots of people have accounts.. not a single one responded to an invite. (on other social networking sites I get dozens in a few hours).
If you use Friendster.. put a comment on this post and let me know if you think it’s a good place for authors who are newbie bloggers.
I’ll report more as we try some other things.
